3M 471 Blue Fine Line Masking tape 1/4" x 36yds
This tape provides sharp paint lines in critical edge paint masking applications with excellent conformability. 3M™ Vinyl Tape 471 Blue provides straighter lines, clean removal, good solvent resistance. Scotch® Tape 471 Blue has conformability and dead stretch properties that are ideal for taping or sealing curved or irregular surfaces. This tape is suitable for fine line masking, for two-tone spraying or design spraying in auto repair and customizing.
3M Vinyl Tape 471 Blue is 5.2 mil (0.13 mm) thick and has a vinyl backing with a rubber adhesive that maintains its color even when exposed to heavy abrasion. Offers clean removal, good solvent resistance. It is specifically designed for masking of plastic moldings, for paint spraying with thin and straight paint line without imprint or adhesive residue of tape. This tape can withstand a temperature of 158°F (70 °C) for one hour.
