3M 4941 Comformable Gray Acrylic VHB Foam Tape 2" x 36yds

4941 is a gray double-coated conformable pressure sensitive acrylic foam tape that is 0.045 in. (1.1 mm) in thickness. The high strength acrylic foam is viscoelastic in nature which gives energy absorbing and stress relaxing properties that provides this tape with its unique characteristics. This product has outstanding durability, UV resistance and temperature performance and bonds to a broad range of substrates common in the Window & Door Industry. The conformable foam provides good contact or wet-out with dissimilar materials or irregular surfaces. These tapes are ideal for use in many interior and exterior industrial applications. They can replace rivets, spot welds, liquid adhesives, and other fasteners. This VHB tape has been commonly been used for glazing bar applications. It produces a quality and aesthetically pleasing appearance which is quick and easy to use and requires no clean time, features that are important to the glazing market. A similar tape has been used for glazing bars in the refurbishment of the Dorchester hotel.
