3M Scotch-Weld Epoxy Adhesive 2216, Duo-Pak 43ml tube
3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Epoxy Adhesive 2216 cures at room temperature and provides high strength very flexible bonds with exceptional performance in shear and peel. Also very flexible. It can be used to bond rubber, metal, wood, most plastics and masonry products. Mix ratio is 2:3. In the aerospace industry, it is used to bond honeycomb to aluminum.
Directions for Use:
Important: Use only the specified 3M™ EPX™ Plus II Applicator system.
1) Apply adhesive to clean, dry substrates, which are free of paint, oxide films, oils, dust, mold release agents and all other surface contaminants.
2) Place 43ml duo-pak cartridge in EPX applicator. Remove cap. Dispense and discard a small amount of adhesive to assure even ratio and free flow. Clear orifice if necessary. (a) aligning nozzle notch with cartridge recess, and (b) twisting into place. Dispense and discard a small amount of adhesive through nozzle until the adhesive is mixed.
Note: Mixing nozzle 2:3 and EPX Plus II applicator is sold seperately and will be required for proper dispensing. |
